Wanted: Lead Singer
Rock Central is looking for a dynamic, experienced lead vocalist to front the band.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our lead vocalist and front man is moving back to NY on Jan. 5, 2025 which creates a unique opportunity for a dynamic, experienced lead vocalist to join and front Rock Central. Our next gig is January 18 and our schedule is active throughout 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS​
- Experienced: At least 3-years performing live rock and classic rock music
- Talented: Powerful voice and wide vocal range necessary to cover a large variety of well-known bands & artists
- Stage Presence: Demonstrated ability to interact with the audience and work the crowd
- Motivation: Driven to perform great songs live and be recognized for superior musicianship and overall sound
- Professional: On time, shows up prepared to practices and gigs, respectful to audience, helps set-up & tear down
- Collaborative: Actively participates in perfecting our show and selecting new songs/making them our own
- No Drama: No drugs or getting drunk on stage, stable life and job outside of the band
- Perfectionist: Not happy with "good enough" and constantly working to improve your craft and performance​​​​​

ABOUT THE BAND
- Schedule: We are booked through most of 2025 with a few dates still available
- Performances: On average we schedule three Saturday night gigs per month (Friday by exception)​
- Musicians: Guitar, bass, drums, keys and backing vocals with decades of live performance experience
- Song Selection: We play popular rock anthems and crowd favorites - and avoid typical 3-chord rock songs
- Sense of Humor: We are good friends who laugh off occasional mistakes and enjoy the time we spend together
- Venues: Generally between Charlotte/Statesville/Greensboro or further for an exceptional opportunity
- Reputation: Owners rank us among their favorites due to our quality performance and the type of crowd we draw
- Equipment: Professional sound & lighting: Midas, QSC, Shure, Wireless mics & guitars, In-ear monitors, etc.
- Rehearsals: Unpaid rehearsal once-per-week in a dedicated rehearsal space from 7-10 pm
- Set Up: Always start on time. Arrive 2-hours before start time to set up. Typically 5-minute sound check
- Pay: We split our pay equally between all five band members, and all gigs are paid.
